ISAAC SELLAM EXPERIENCE
Leather as Architecture.
Craft as Science.
Paris, Since 2002.
THE ORIGIN
Isaac Sellam stitched his first leather jacket at 16, in his parents' kitchen in Paris. Fifteen years of research followed before he launched the brand that bears his name.
His atelier is less a fashion studio, more a leather laboratory. Every jacket is an investigation.
"I don't design clothes. I engineer objects that happen to fit the human form."
THE CRAFT
Full-grain leather — lamb, calf, horse — undergoes experimental treatments: garment dyeing after construction, waxing, controlled aging. The result is a surface that tells a story before you've worn it once.
