The cuff sits as a deep rigid block at the ankle, standing away from the shoe rather than collapsing onto it.

The fabric is Panama wool - an openly woven Italian tropical wool with a dry, crisp hand that reads substantial without weight, light enough for year-round wear. Fully matte black. The waistband carries no belt loops: an extended tab crosses from one side to the other and closes with a concealed button, leaving the front as a clean uninterrupted line. The silhouette tapers cleanly from the waist down to a cropped ankle, with a permanent central crease running the full length of each leg. The deep turn-up cuff is the anchor - roughly 5 centimetres of folded wool that creates a horizontal break above the shoe and holds its line when you walk. Wool, cupro, cotton. Three materials, no ornament.
