Nostra Santissima's patch-dye process applies color to the 80% viscose velvet in sections rather than as a continuous bath. The result is a surface where bronze, brown, and charcoal coexist without a seam between them -- the dye migrated across the pile at its own pace, concentrating in some areas and thinning in others, so the jacket reads as a field of controlled accident. The lustrous surface amplifies this: direct light reveals the bronze register; oblique light deepens the charcoal. The central back seam is the one fixed line in a garment where everything else follows a logic that could not be planned precisely.
The construction is a notch-lapel jacket built to a relaxed silhouette -- not slim, not oversized, but proportioned to sit easily over a shirt or layered knit without pulling.
