The base fabric is an armure weave - a dense double-cotton construction that locks fibres into a repeating ridged pattern, giving the material an architectural surface rather than a smooth plane. On white, the ridge topology reads in raking light: a shadow caught at every interlock, a faint tonal step across every panel. The garment is cold-dyed after completion, so pigment settles deeper at pocket edges, seam channels, and the waistband binding than at the flat body of the leg.
Leather trim interrupts the cotton at select points - smooth hide against the textured weave, a direct tactile contrast at the fingertips. Four pockets.
