The MST517DARK uses the same terry construction as the off-white version but the dark used grey shifts how the pile reads. In dark grey, the terry loop structure becomes visible as tonal shadow - the raised pile catches and holds shadow differently than a flat surface, giving the fabric a dimensional appearance that reads richer than its composition suggests. Against the skin, the viscose-cotton-polyester blend feels immediately soft, the pile registering as distinct from woven fabric at every contact point. The dark used grey refers to a post-production treatment that gives the surface a worn quality - slightly uneven, as though the fabric has already absorbed time. Woven stretch cotton inserts in the same grey register as the shell without disappearing. Raw cut hem with side slits. Elastic waistband with drawstrings.
