In dark grey, the terry loop structure becomes visible as tonal shadow - the raised pile catches and holds shadow differently than a flat surface, giving the fabric a dimensional appearance that reads richer than its composition suggests. Against the skin, the viscose-cotton-polyester blend feels immediately soft, the pile registering as distinct from woven fabric at every contact point. The dark used grey refers to a post-production treatment that gives the surface a worn quality - slightly uneven, as though the fabric has already absorbed time.
