The woven structure gives the fabric a surface presence - not soft and yielding, but flat and composed, with a slight crispness that holds the cropped silhouette where it needs to hold. The leg falls relaxed, neither tapered nor wide, and ends at the crop with enough authority that the cut reads as intentional. An elastic waistband with drawstring keeps the waist clean from the outside and adjustable from the inside. Back pockets are welt and patched - flat against the body, no bulk. The internal safety pocket sits concealed at the interior. The minimal, utilitarian finish means nothing is competing with the construction itself.
