The difference is the dyeing process. Vegetal black linen has a surface quality that flat-dyed linen does not: the colour carries a slight organic depth, a warmth that shifts in direct light where machine-dyed black would remain uniform. The linen itself starts dry and slightly resistant to the hand, softening wash by wash into a surface with accumulated character. Cargo flap pockets at the legs, internal safety pocket concealed at the interior. Elastic waistband with drawstring. Made in Portugal.
